We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and complying with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and other applicable laws.

By using CorrPay, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

1. Minimum Age Requirement

Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. You must be at least 18 years old to create and operate a CorrPay account. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.

2. Information We Collect

Personal Identification Information: Full name, phone number, email address, and date of birth.
Verification Data (Current): Photograph of your government-issued ID.
Future Enhanced Verification: BVN or NIN for higher-value services, with prior notice.
Financial and Transaction Data: Airtime, data, electricity, TV payments, and wallet activity.
Technical and Device Information: IP address, device type/model, OS, identifiers, network info, crash logs.
Approximate Location: Derived from IP address for fraud prevention and compliance.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share your data with trusted third-party service providers under strict confidentiality agreements to deliver our Services to you.

Nomba Microfinance Bank: For wallet creation, transaction processing, and identity verification.
Telecommunication and Utility Companies: To fulfill your purchase requests.
Termii: For SMS delivery including OTPs and alerts.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or regulatory authority such as the Central Bank of Nigeria.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for a minimum of five (5) years after account closure or as required to provide services, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Afterward, data is securely archived or anonymized.

We implement strong technical and organizational security measures—including encryption, secure servers, and strict access controls—to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
